Impact of a Christ-Centered, Academically-Strong Education

As a Christian community, it is our responsibility to do everything we can to “train up a child in the way they should go” (Proverbs 22:9). This entails a multi-faceted educational experience that includes both academic excellence and a biblical worldview. Neither can be exclusive if we are to provide our students with the best opportunity to influence their community and stand firm in their faith.

What is a Biblical Worldview

A Christ-centered education incorporates strong academics with a faith-centered foundation to equip students for whatever opportunities and challenges lie in their future.

The core of this is a biblical worldview interwoven into all studies.

A biblical worldview begins with the understanding that God created all of us perfectly with different talents. Second, while we understand that He created us in His image, we accept that we are “fallen people.” However, we have redemption because of Christ and a responsibility to serve others for His glory.

As a general educational framework, this provides depth to academic studies. Students explore four facets of the biblical narrative and how those connect in the classroom.

1. How should it be? (Creation)

2. What is wrong? (Fall)

3. How do we fix it? (Redemption)

4. What is the vision for the future? (Hope)

They learn how they can use their knowledge and talents to glorify Him.
